What Are Field Presets?

Field presets are pre-configured data extraction templates that tell the AI what specific information to look for in meeting transcripts. Each preset contains a set of fields. After a meeting is processed, the AI analyzes the transcript and fills in values for each field based on what was discussed. If a topic wasn’t covered, the field is left empty.

Custom Fields

Create your own extraction fields to capture information specific to your sales process or use case. Examples include:
  • Competitor Mentions — Which competitors were discussed
  • Integration Requirements — Technical or integration needs
  • Team Size — Size of the team or organization

How Extraction Works

Meeting is recorded and transcribed

The AI Notetaker records the meeting and generates a full transcript.

AI analyzes against field presets

The AI reviews the transcript and extracts values for each field in your active preset(s).

Values are extracted and displayed

Extracted values appear in the meeting view and are included in workflow payloads.

Team-Level Configuration

Field presets are configured at the team level. Navigate to the Fields tab on the main Notetaker page to select or customize your extraction templates.
