Before You Begin
You’ll need:- A Salesmsg account with an active subscription
- At least one phone number configured in Salesmsg
- Access to your Salesmsg account to authorize Orbit AI
- Admin access to your Orbit AI team
Setup Guide
Navigate to Salesmsg in Orbit AI
Go to the Integrations page in Orbit AI and find Salesmsg in the list of available integrations.
Authorize with Salesmsg
Click Connect with Salesmsg. You’ll be redirected to Salesmsg to authorize Orbit AI.
Log in to your Salesmsg account and approve the connection. You’ll be redirected back to Orbit AI automatically.
Secure OAuth Connection — Orbit AI uses OAuth 2.0 to securely connect to your Salesmsg account. Your credentials are never stored.
You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting the integration in Orbit AI.
Select your default phone number
Once connected, Orbit AI will load the phone numbers from your Salesmsg account. Select a
default phone number to send messages from.
Using with Sequences
Sequences let you combine email and SMS steps in a single automated outreach flow. Add SMS steps to follow up with leads, send reminders, or deliver time-sensitive messages.Example Sequence
- Step 1: Send introductory email (Day 0)
- Step 2: Follow up with SMS via Salesmsg (Day 2)
- Step 3: Send detailed email with case study (Day 5)
- Step 4: Final SMS follow-up if no reply (Day 7)

Try disconnecting and reconnecting your Salesmsg account. Make sure you are logged in to the correct Salesmsg account and approve the authorization request when redirected.

Check that the recipient phone number is in E.164 format (e.g., +14155551234). Also verify that your Salesmsg account has sufficient credits and that the phone number you’re sending from is active.

Ensure you have at least one phone number configured in your Salesmsg account. Go to Salesmsg → Numbers to verify. If you just added a number, try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration.

In your sequence SMS step, you can select a specific phone number from your Salesmsg account using the “Send from” dropdown. If left blank, the default number from your integration settings will be used.
